About Retreat Write Repeat
Writing takes courage. We create space for that courage to grow.
Retreat Write Repeat was founded by writer, educator, and coach Dr. Erica Mongé-Greer to offer a simple but powerful invitation:
Make time to write. Find joy in the process. Tell the story only you can tell.
We serve two kinds of writers:
- Adults who have a story to share—whether it’s a memoir, a novel with heart, a family history, or a how-to book rooted in real-life wisdom.
- Students (and their parents) who want guidance and encouragement for college essays, AP papers, creative fiction, or homeschool writing.
In a world that moves too fast and demands too much, our workshops and retreats offer space to slow down, tune in, and make real progress—whether you’re just starting out or picking up the pen again after years away.
Meet Erica

Hi, I’m Erica Mongé-Greer—a published author, former university professor, writing coach, and the founder of Retreat Write Repeat.
I created this space because I believe in the power of writing to bring clarity, healing, confidence, and joy. I’ve spent over a decade helping students, professionals, and creatives find their voice and trust it. And I know how hard it can be to start.
That’s why RWR is designed with real life in mind: flexible workshops, thoughtful resources, and a community that meets you where you are.
Why the Name?
Retreat. Write. Repeat.
It’s more than a catchy title—it’s a rhythm. A practice.
Step back. Show up. Begin again.
Want to See What It’s Like?
You don’t have to be “ready.” You just have to start.
